Joff Winterhart

Joff Winterhart is a drawing artist and animator. He studied film and animation while at Newport Arts School, South Wales.
In 2002 Joff wrote and directed an animation called ‘Violet and Turquoise’. It won a Bafta Cymru and was also shown at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. His short graphical story ‘Days of the Bagnold Summer’ came 2nd in the Observer/Cape graphic short story prize.

Joff came to PVA MediaLab in 2010 to work on a project for the arts and multimedia festival b-side. He worked with fellow artist Sue Palmer to create an audio single during their time on the number 1 bus between Weymouth and Portland.
He came back to PVA MediaLab in 2010 for the Outside In workshop where he once again worked with Sue Palmer to create a visual piece with a group of young people from the local area.

Joff continues to experiment with new media and produce more work.
